COURSE DESCRIPTION

At the end of the Skylotec training course for the installation and inspection of the Claw vertical lifeline, participants will be aware of how to install and inspect such a system and of the risks encountered when working at height. The training will also provide participants with the knowledge, skills and confidence to install and inspect such a system on various types of structures and in accordance with national and international guidelines. The main objective of this training is that each participant knows how to independently and correctly install and inspect the Claw system.

Number of participants: max 8 people
Duration: 1 day / 8 hours

TRAINING LOCATIONS

In house: the training can take place in different Skylotec certified training centers globally. Two locations are present in Italy:

  • via Torchio, 9 / 24034 Cisano Bergamasco (BG);
  • via Garibaldi, 20 / 36034 Malo (VI).

Onsite: The training can also be also delivered directly at customer´s facilities globally.

TARGET GROUP

All persons who have to install the permanent fall protection system Claw and who have to carry out the periodic inspection.

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 18 years old.
  • Be medically fit and able to fully participate.
  • Submit a valid occupational medicine examination according to the national directives.
  • Wear safety shoes.

LEARNING CONTENT

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to install and inspect the following systems according to the manufacturer’s specifications:

  • anchor points combined with the Claw system;
  • Claw.

CERTIFICATE AND VALIDITY PERIOD

  • Every participant that has successfully completed the course will be given a certificate.
  • The certificate is valid for 3 years.
  • The certificate will be issued after the training.
